After almost two years, MISSION Agency, Story is thrilled to reveal the unique packaging, communications platform, and launch assets for Ardbeg The Abyss, an exceptionally rare whisky.
This project highlights the ‘legendary heart of Corryvreckan’ for whisky fans and collectors worldwide, driving leads through Ardbeg’s private sales channels.
Drawn from the last surviving French oak casks of the original Corryvreckan edition, Ardbeg The Abyss is unique. Each bottle comes with a comic book by Tradd Moore, retelling Prince Breacan’s tale from the 2008 Corryvreckan launch.
Story designed a space-capsule-meets-diving chamber package inspired by the comic’s whirlpool and the whisky’s complex flavors.
The launch includes visuals, emails, and films combining live action and animation to bring the story to life.
